Continuum Cycles is owned and operated by cyclists who love to ride, work on and custom build all types of bikes. We also talk about them for hours on end.
At first glance one might think we only build vintage steel lugged track and road bikes. But this is not the case. We pride ourselves on the fact that we do love and find beauty in all bikes-- Excluding of course the DISPOSABLE DEPARTMENT STORE BICYCLE. Though Jeff (the owner) says, "There is a bike for everyone." Among our collection of bikes you can find a 1889 track frame, a Schwinn Stingray from the 70's, a 1984 Mongoose California Pro BMX, a 1st generation lugged Ritchey mt. bike, Beach cruisers, english three speeds, and some 80's Italian road and track bikes including and 1983 Colnago with 50th anniversary Campagnolo groupo.

This may seem like a bunch of bike geek mumbo jumbo to some but what this really means is we know a lot about a number of different types of bikes. Not only do we enjoy wrenching and riding we also know the history behind the bikes we sell and that come into our shop... what year, where it was built, who built it and even how many were built. If you stop by the shop and hear us talking bike geek BS and are not bike savvy, don't feel out of place. We are very open to new people interested in cycling. At Continuum you can pretty much ask us anything. Unlike most shops we want you to ask questions. We are not going to try and put you on a bike that is not for you just to get a sale. We ask customers as many questions as they ask us before we even start looking at bikes. If you are looking for a bike that is unique to you and not available at every store in the city, then check us out. Our staff is dedicated to finding a frame in your size and one that fits your riding needs. With you, we'll choose quality components and complete a bike that is custom to you. We stock a wide range of quality frames and components for you to choose from and will do our best to track down any particular item you request. After a customer leaves with their bike we want to keep seeing them. We feel that a bicycle is a very personal thing and not only is a custom bike built, but also a relationship. We become friends with most of our customers which is the way a bike shop should be.
